Ōtari: two hundred years of Ōtari–Wilton’s Bush

Bee Dawson has been telling the world about “Ōtari: two hundred years of Ōtari–Wilton’s Bush” on radio and video this week.

Her chat with Kim Hill on Saturday Morning on RNZ –on the Radio Active Caffeine and Aspirin show – and on Wellington City Libraries website are all packed with anecdote and incident, facts and fun about the world renowned native plant museum and reserve. As Kim Hill said – These sorts of commissioned histories can be dull but Ōtari most certainly is not.

How could it be dull with Bee as the author? Her passion for gardens and stories have come together superbly in Ōtari and shine through in the media interviews.
